After a Christmas time proposal, Rebecca and Nathan initially took a relaxed approach to wedding planning. Wanting to coordinate their celebration with visitors from  overseas, the pair had just four months to plan their celebration.  

Returning to the spot of their first date, the couple were married in an intimate ceremony on Halls Head Beach, replete with beautiful photo opportunities for Kerry from Wild Folie Wedding Photographer to capture.  Rebecca had always dreamt of feeling like a princess on her big day and didn’t let the sand sway her choice of gown.

Shining in a blush ball gown from Blue Cherry Bridal, Rebecca chose accents of rose gold and a blush pink ad n white bouquet-with matching boutonniere for Nathan and other family members.  

Post ceremony, the group travelled to Rebecca & Nathans home, where the fun and casual backyard reception ensued.  Wanting to focus on  good food and good company, the couple hired a BBQ catering company so they could make the most of their time with loved ones.

 A colour scheme of white and gold was accented by hints of greenery, with a lot of DIY elements complementing larger, hired focal pieces.  After perfectly pulling things together so last minute, Rebecca and Nathan enjoyed two honeymoons - a relaxing retreat and spa in Mount Helena and an exciting trip to Singapore.
